Each of the islands are surrounded by crystal clear water and the beaches are white and sandy - what better swimming and sunbathing conditions can you ask for?

Ko Hong has a natural lagoon, Chicken Island has some small caves and at low tide you can walk over a sandbank to its sister island, Ko Poda is great for swimming and snorkeling.
Take off and feel the rhythm of the ocean and the spray of saltwater in your face. Lean back and enjoy the beautiful and bizarre scenery of the karst stones as the coastline gets smaller and smaller.

Ko Poda - Attractions
Ko Poda (เกาะบอดะ) (Krabi)

Ko Poda has a lovely white sandy beach with crystal clear water. The waters around Ko Poda are suitable for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.

It is worth a day trip from the mainland. Longtailboats anchoring along the beach offer snacks and Thai dishes. The island is privately owned and a bungalow site belonging to Krabi Resort offers bungalows for those who want to explore the Robinson Crusoe feeling on the island.

Ko Poda is situated south of Ao Nang, 8 km offshore.

Ko Kai - Chicken Island (Ko Kai) (Krabi)

Ko Kai is an amazing natural lime stone island resembling the body of a chicken crouching in the water.

One end of the island consists of steep cliffs while the other end has beautiful beaches along a peninsula. At low tide you can walk across the sandbank to the very tiny island of Thalay Waek. The warm and clear water is ideal for swimming. There is no accommodation on the island. A little food stall and toilets are the only amenities on the island.

For those who prefer a specialized tour, design for individual needs and off the beaten track, should contact Elizabeth and Sun from Andaman Camp and Cruise. Kayaks and snorkeling gear as well as drinks and food is always on board.

Ko Hong - Attractions
Ko Hong (เกาะห้อง) (Krabi)

Ko Hong lies opposite Klong Muang. The island is uninhabited and part of the National Park.

Hong means room, and indeed, the island has a room, a spectacular lagoon - high cliffs enclosing an emerald pool, which is ideal for snorkeling. At the main beach of the island a ranger will ask you to pay 200 Baht entrance fee (children 100 Baht). If you do not want to pay this amount, ask the captain to go to one of the other 2 beaches on the outside of the island where swimming and sunbathing is free.
